Testimonial Tuesday

 

 

"I've achieved more than I thought I could have on my own"

 

"My name is Sandra and I have been training with Chris at Brighton since about September 2013. Since then I have reached several goals, plus achieved more than I thought I could have on my own. For the first time ever I increased my running speed to complete the City to Bay in under an hour last year, a goal I never would have thought I could achieve at my age.

 

I am also closer to the “goal weight for my height” which has been alluding me for many years (and I’ve dropped a dress size and 2 sizes in jeans to go with it) I have always enjoyed exercising but it was getting combination of exercise and nutrition right that I think really helped me achieve the weight-loss.

 

But the things I really like most about training at Brighton are; 1. that it outdoors in the fresh air (even in the extremes, even when we go undercover) 2. the fun sessions with the other members and 3. the social aspect of the group and taking part in events like True Grit and long distance runs out of session times.

 

Chris provides the best motivation and has helped me with my nutrition and working towards my next goal to complete a half marathon this coming weekend, something which I feel I wouldn’t have had the fitness to attempt in the past."
