APRIL IS SUNRISE MONTH

 

..as daylight savings finishes, the extra hour of daylight moves back to the morning, making it the BEST time for an outdoors workout!!

SuperSession Wrap:

Monday evening SUPER Session was epic! and It was great to see so many members smashing it after the Easter long weekend! 😂🐰

The perfect combo of boxing 🥊 weights🏋️‍♀️ and the Monday night runners even had their fill 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

 

Next SuperSession will be ANZAC DAY - 25th April which is a WEDNESDSAY!!! so ALL normal sessions that day will be replaced with ONE MASSIVE SUPERSESSION at 8:00am at Angus Neill (to give you time after the Dawn Service!!)

 

Body Composition Scan:

DATE CHANGE: Due to Easter and also the need to work around True Grit training, I've moved the next Body Scan back a couple of weeks to THIS COMING Saturday 7th April - BOOKING's OPEN book early to snag the best time-slot www.chriseves.com.au/events for full details and pricing and to make a booking.

 

Training Locations:

With the end of daylight saving, please be aware of the following training location changes:

  • Wed 6:30pm Balance Sessions move to the Gym

  • ALL other 6:30pm Sessions will be on King George Ave side under my Spot Lights until the school light is fixed

  • 6:00am Sessions will remain on Colton Ave Side while there is daylight in the morning.

Please park in the appropriate side car park, particularly for the evening sessions as the Colton Ave gates will be locked when the last staff member leaves.

 

True Grit Training Does BaseCamp - SPECIAL INVITE:

This week our 'Gritters are heading to SA Base Camp (in Royal Park - not far from AAMI Stadium) to work on rope climbs and wall conquering - among other things. This is included in their training package, HOWEVER!!! I'm sure they'd love some additional company, so for a little less than your Saturday breaky, you can join us there from 10:30am to stretch your comfort zone in a slightly different direction than usual!!! 

 

Let me know if you're keen so we can arrange to complete their necessary waiver and safety vid before we go :D

 

Stadium Stomp:

So if True Grit or a Fun-Run aren't your thing, maybe the Stadium Stomp is. There's a growing number of keen members who are getting along to this one - Sunday May 20th. Chat to me if you're interested and I'll connect you to the right people!!

 

Gold Coast Marathon:

We have the makings of a small group that are keen to head up to the Gold Coast for a Winter break to either watch or  participate in one of the events at the Gold Coast Marathon Festival. There's a 10km, a half (21.1km) and a full (42.2km) to choose from - or just come along to cheer the group on.

 

The dates are 30th June-1st July, so set them aside and let me know if you're interested :D
